Yoga
Yoga classes meet twice a week, in the morning and in the afternoon. Yoga classes are open to anyone interested in learning to relax the body deeply, reduce anxiety, and quiet their mind. Individual attention is paid to each person in order to make the classes safe for mixed levels of ability and wellness. Instructors - Claire Willis, LICSW, Gretchen Daggett, M.A.
Writing for Healing
The weekly journal writing group meets on Tuesday mornings and is open to participants and their loved ones. Emphasis is primarily on support and helping one another write what each one needs to be writing. Structured and unstructured exercises are used. Led by Claire Willis, LICSW
Meditation
Weekly drop in meditation classes are often held in conjunction with yoga. Through various techniques, participants practice how to stay calm in the face of fear and deepen their capacity to be with what is rather than what they wish were so.
Nutrition
Watch the calendar for nutrition classes. Learn about the relationship between your immune system and the foods you eat, how foods affect your gastro-intestinal system, ways to address weight concerns and general nutrition information. Classes led by Sheila Wolfson, M.Ed., C.N.S., L.D.N.
