Weekly Support Groups
FCT offers several weekly support groups for people with cancer and their caregivers. All groups require a pre-group meeting with a clinician. Groups are on-going and are facilitated by licensed mental health clinicians.

People with Cancer
In participant groups, people with all diagnoses focus on the emotional and social challenges of a cancer diagnosis and provide support, understanding and connection to one another.
Family Caregivers
In caregiver groups, primary caregivers and family members discuss the challenges of care-giving and the impact of cancer on relationships and families.

Bereavement Support
A twice monthly bereavement group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. This group is for people who have recently lost a loved one to cancer. A pre-group interview is required before attending this group.

LGBT Cancer Support Group
This weekly group provides a safe space where lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people with cancer can meet others facing similar challenges, find comfort and companionship, and learn new ways to cope. This group is led in collaboration with Fenway Health

Monthly Networking Groups
Monthly drop in groups provide an opportunity for people with similar diagnoses or life situations to discuss the challenges associated with their specific situation. No pre-group meeting is required for monthly groups. Groups are for people with cancer only, with the exception of the Multiple Myeloma group which includes caregivers.

Currently we offer the following monthly networking groups:

• Ovarian Cancer - 1st Thursday each month, 5:30-7:30pm
• Breast Cancer - 2nd Thursday each month, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
• Lymphoma - 3rd Thursday each month, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
• Multiple Myeloma - 3rd Saturday each month, 10am - 12 pm
• Young Women with Cancer - 4th Thursday each month, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
